Olde South Crossing just got more affordable

This Lebanon County neighborhood by Landmark Homes has plenty to offer, including convenience, lots of open space and new pricing

Olde South Crossing, a Landmark Homes community of single-family homes in Lebanon County’s South Annville Township, has something for everyone. It’s within walking distance of historic downtown Annville, with its restaurants, shops, the Allen Theatre and Lebanon Valley College. It’s an easy commute to just about anywhere, from Hershey to Mount Gretna to Lancaster. It offers the feel of country living, with its surrounding farmland, walking trails, common areas and generous open space between lots.

“It’s a very beautiful community,” says community sales manager Bani Gbadyu. And now, Olde South Crossing just got more affordable, with home prices dropping $10,000 to $15,000, depending on the model, Gbadyu says.

For those looking to custom build, Olde South Crossing has 20 floor plans, both one- and two-story models, including some with first-floor master suites. With its first phase nearing completion and a second phase set to begin in late spring, the community will eventually have a total of 100 homes. There are only six lots remaining in the first phase, but buyers who want to move in sooner have a number of options, including a one-story, quick move-in home, a two-story currently under construction, and the model, an award-winning showpiece loaded with upgrades.

The move-in-ready Preston features three bedrooms, including a private owner’s suite, as well as a flex room that can serve as a fourth bedroom, study or living room. The open floor plan includes a spacious kitchen with breakfast bar/island overlooking a great room featuring a cozy gas fireplace with stone surround. The adjoining dining area opens to a backyard patio. At 1,866 square feet, the Preston is priced at $287,400.

Also move-in ready is the model home, an Ellington honored as best of show in its division at this year’s Parade of Homes. The home has more than 3,500 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms, three full baths and two half baths. Like all Parade of Homes entries, the Ellington includes many design upgrades, from the stone accent wall in the kitchen to the angled gas fireplace in the owner’s suite. The kitchen has a pantry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and crown molding on the cabinetry. A butler’s pantry leads to the formal dining room, which has a coffered ceiling and Craftsman-style wainscoting. A floor-to-ceiling dry stack stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the family room. The first floor also includes a formal living room, a study with built-in window seat and bookshelves, a powder room, and a mudroom entry off the two-car side garage. An angled stairway leads from the kitchen to the second floor and a raised rec room. In addition to the owner’s suite, the second floor also includes three more bedrooms — two sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and a third with a private full bath of its own — as well as the laundry room.

A third home, the Bainbridge, is scheduled for completion in February. That home will include three bedrooms, two and a half baths and a finished bonus room. The first floor will feature a kitchen with breakfast nook, living room, dining room, family room with gas fireplace, and mudroom entry off the two-car side garage. At just over 2,300 square feet, the Bainbridge is priced at $288,700.

Olde South Crossing is in the Annville-Cleona School District. It is conveniently located across the street from the Annville-Cleona Secondary School campus and just minutes from Annville Elementary School. The neighborhood has natural gas and public sewer and water. The homeowner’s fee is $35 per month.
