Landmark Homes to Host Construction Trades Day for Lancaster and Lebanon County Students October 7th

After a successful inaugural event in 2014, Landmark Homes, in partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, will be hosting the 2nd annual Construction Trades Day on October 7th, 2015.undefined

Construction Trades day is an interactive event designed to educate local middle and high school students, parents, counselors, and educators on the types of career opportunities available in the Construction Industry, highlighting the increasing demand for these high skill, high wage positions.

Students and participants will be guided through the process of new home construction via live demonstrations from local trade professionals.undefined

Career fields that will be represented are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, concrete and masonry, engineering, and heavy equipment operations. Presenters include Lezzer Lumber, County Line Mechanical, Quality Floors, Weaver Precast, Signature Stone, and Ray Good Electric, as well as representatives from Landmark Homes drafting department, framing crew, and sales team.

Construction Trades Day will be held rain or shine at Landmark's Home Towne Square community in Ephrata. Over 200 students are expected to be in attendance.
