After a successful inaugural event in 2014, Landmark Homes, in partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, will be hosting the 2nd annual Construction Trades Day on October 7th, 2015.
Landmark Homes has made a decision to close its sales centers and model homes on Sundays beginning in 2015. Although this is contrary to industry standards, Landmark believes in the importance of honoring a day of faith for its employees and their families.
In partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board, Landmark Homes developed the first ever Construction Trades Day in Lancaster County to promote opportunities in the construction industry.
Central Penn Business Journal Awards
Each year, Central Penn Business Journal honors select local businesses for their contributions to central Pennsylvania's business community. In each of the four categories, based on the size of the business, only one company is ultimately awarded the title of "Business of the Year."
On August 8th, Central Penn's panel of independent judges announced the 2013 finalists. With only six finalists named in the category of mid-size businesses (51-100 employees), Landmark Homes is honored to have been selected.
Winners will be announced, and all finalists will be recognized, at a black-tie Business of the Year awards event on Monday, November 4th, to be held at the Hilton Harrisburg from 5:45-9:30 PM. Read more about the event here.
On February 9, 2013 from 1 - 4p.m., Landmark Homes will hold a Chocolate for Charity event, where families will be welcome to stop in and enjoy delicious chocolate samples, watch live cooking and decorating demonstrations, and enter to win various giveaways. The event will be held at the new community center in Landmark's Home Towne Square community in Ephrata, where the designer decorated model home will also be open for touring.
